ONE TRIBE HUB
Supporting Disabled People feel less isolated in the community and helping front line NHS staff.
I'm Seema Flower a Blind Entrepreneur in Stoke Poges, South Bucks.
I believe that the Covid-19 epidermic is our generation's Dunkirk - a time when we will be tested and must come together for our communities like never before. It is our turn to stand up and be counted. To fight for what we believe in.
THE MISSION: SUPPORT OUR NHS STAFF AND LOCAL COMMUNITY.
This site was inspired by this video of Dawn Bilbrough a critical care nurse who arrived at the supermarket after her long shift to find no food on the shelves. Well not on my watch.
As a blind person I can't do what many others can do. But i Can get on the phones and start organising help for our NHS teams.
So far I have worked with Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer's to coordinate donation for hard pressed NHS teams. I want that video to be the last time NHS from line staff are in that position. I want NHS staff to have donated food waiting at the end of the shifts so they don't have to shop and if they do then they give us a list ahead of time and the stores fulfil it for them so they simply have to collect.
